They didn’t use this image, but IIRC from when I played it, that’s pretty much exactly the top tier US planes.
Decent game, but if you’re looking for an awesome online dog fighting game, just get warthunder.

Not surprisingly, they had a lot of problems with nose gear failure. Now that I look at that picture, I wonder if that influenced the variable-incidence wing on the F-8. “If you can’t raise the nose, raise the wing.”
